Nurturing Musical Passions
Welcome to
MTAC Lakewood-Cerritos Branch is a local professional association of independent music teachers, ranging in disciplines from piano, winds, strings, harp, guitar and voice, and is affiliated with Music Teachers’ Association of California®.  Become an MTAC member and join us in Lakewood-Cerritos Branch.  www.mtac.org/membership

 

In addition to the many distinguished MTAC state programs, including the highly regarded Certificate of Merit® (CM) program, the Lakewood-Cerritos Branch hosts a variety of local programs for our members and their students including:​

  • Fall Festival Recital

  • Sonata/Sonatina Festival

  • Winter Solo Festival

  • Southern California Junior Bach Festival

  • Master Classes

  • CM Honors Recitals

  • Branch meetings providing opportunities for teacher growth and enrichment.

“Join the Parade,”

by Jane Rankin, is an ensemble comprised of eight limited edition bronze sculptures depicting small children in a make-shift marching band.  Located in the City of Cerritos Sculpture Garden.
