Lakewood-Cerritos Branch

MTAC Lakewood-Cerritos Branch is a local professional association of independent music teachers, ranging in disciplines from piano, winds, strings, harp, guitar and voice, and is affiliated with Music Teachers’ Association of California®.  Become an MTAC member and join us in Lakewood-Cerritos Branch.


In addition to the many distinguished state programs offered by MTAC, The Lakewood-Cerritos Branch hosts a variety of local programs for our members and their students including:

  • Fall Festival Recital

  • Sonata/Sonatina Festival

  • Winter Solo Festival

  • Southern California Junior Bach Festival

  • Master Classes

  • Spring Showcase Recitals

  • MTAC State Association’s Certificate of Merit® (CM) program

  • Branch meetings include programs for teacher growth and enrichment.
