Lakewood-Cerritos MTAC Branch
Lakewood-Cerritos (LC) MTAC Branch was chartered in 1960. Membership includes local, professional music teachers from Lakewood-Cerritos and surrounding area. Disciplines include piano, winds, strings, harp, guitar and voice. Lakewood-Cerritos Branch is affiliated with the Music Teachers' Association of California®.
MTAC History
The Music Teachers’ Association of California®, incorporated in 1897, is a professional organization dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in music education. With over 4,700 members, there are more than 63 self-governing, affiliated Branches throughout the state.

The Music Teachers’ Association of California® Foundation is a charitable organization, established in 1989 to support students across the 63 affiliated Branches statewide through the Foundation awards and scholarship programs. Since its establishment, the MTAC Foundation has provided thousands of dollars in grants, awards and scholarships to hundreds of deserving young students.
